At Aubenton in the middle of the French Ardennes, just across the Belgium border, some 360 kilometres from Amsterdam and about 175 kilometres from Paris, iHTS owns a splendid late mediaeval property.

The present building (1630) with its 13th century arched vaults boasts two studios of different size, a group day lounge and a bar area. There are three-, four- and six-bedded sleeping accommodations, shower and toilet facilities, two attics, a large garden and a beautiful, cosy courtyard. As from September 2009 the house will be completely ready for use and will comfortably house groups from four to twenty people.

The iHTS Aubenton facility will accommodate professionals involved with Dance and Drama from all over the world enabling them to take part in classes, while comfortably living together.

iHTS offers one to three week full day workshop sessions by teachers working in an established theatre method. Such master classes will be structured on Tchekhov, Grotowski, Stanislawski, Graham or Pina Bausch, or lesser known methods as Acting from Text, Dancing from Emotion, etc.
In addition iHTS offers professional support in the final stages of directing Drama or Dance productions. Theatre schools and other interested groups use this home for special theatre training field trips. Secondary schools will find interesting opportunities to organise CKV day or week programs. And last but not least the house is suitable to realize special cultural assignments of any type.
